Quality, Health Safety and Environmental Management
PT Geomahakarasa Indonesia fully understands the importance of Quality and HSE in the delivery of its services to customers.
PT Geomahakarsa implements a Quality Management system based on the ISO9001:2000 standard to ensure ongoing implementation of quality concepts and the achievement of customer satisfaction.
In May 2008 PT Geomahakarsa was granted ISO9001:2000 certification from international certification body Bureau Veritas.
PT Geomahakarsa Indonesia also adopts an HSE Management System in operational practices to provide safe working conditions for its employees, customers and the general public.
Since its operation, PT Geomahakarsa Indonesia has received a number of recognitions related to services provided to customers and also the HSE performance during the project from various clients:
- Lundin South East Asia BV on 2D Marine Seismic Survey in 2007
- ENI Bukat Ltd on Seismic Survey Planning in 2003
- ENI Muara Bakau on 3D Seismic in 2004
- Zero Accident from KNOC in 2006
- Certificate of Excellent for Drilling work from KNOC in 2006 and 2007
- Excellent Safety certificate from ConocoPhillips in 2006
- Various certificate of recognition from Conoco in 2002, 2006

PT GEOMAHAKARSA MANAGEMENT POLICY
It is the aim of PT. Geomahakarsa Indonesia to achieve high quality standards in the delivery of services to the customer, and to undertake business and project activities in such manner to see that the health and safety of employee, the clients and the general public are given due priority, including conservation of the natural environment while performing these activities.
We aim to provide customers with quality survey and consultancy services that meet their requirements and the requirements of applicable international standards through provision of professional project management and competent people.
PT Geomahakarsa Indonesia will ensure compliance to applicable regulatory and other requirements and shall take the relevant measures and provide the necessary protection either to minimize or to totally eliminate the potential risk to occupational health, safety and the environment within the office premises and at the project sites.
The following key statements are made on behalf of PT Geomahakarsa Indonesia:
- Establish and maintain an operational system that complies with ISO9001:2000
- To allocate appropriate resources and the provisions to competent personnel while carrying out work
- Continually strive to improve work systems by monitoring performance and encouraging constructive feedback
- Conduct risk and environmental aspects assessments a as baseline for the establishment of health, safety and environmental management systems
- Ensure safe working practices, including the promotion of a hygiene program that incorporates sound environmental practices
- Maintenance of workers health through prohibition of drugs and inappropriate use of alcohols, medications and other substances that present a serious danger to workers and property
