Meridian Surveys
Meridian Surveys was first incorporated as Meridian Surveys Pte Ltd in Singapore in 1987. It has since expanded to include Meridian Surveys (M) Sdn Bhd (Malaysia), Meridian Surveys (HK) Ltd with affiliates in Indonesia. The administrative headquarters of the Meridian Surveys Group is located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Meridian’s core business has been the provision of experienced professional consultants to key sectors of the Petroleum Industry (both Exploration and Production Sectors), as well as equipment and software to ensure the integrity of the final product delivered to the client. The business has developed to now include the software development for Geological databases (GeoModel), GIS design and development (MIM’s) and the provision of Vessel Tracking and Management Systems (MVM).
The main geographic region supported is the Asia Pacific Region with contracts being completed in Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Cambodia, Vietnam and China. While concentrating in this region, contracts have also been fulfilled in West Africa, North Sea, East Coast of Canada, India, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand and the Middle East.
Our personnel include professional Geodesists, Surveyors, Geophysicists, Electronic Engineers, IT Managers and Software/System Analysts with the core personnel being based in S.E. Asia. This permits a quick response time to our main clients in the region.

Meridian’s Vessel Tracking and Fleet Management
- Real-time in-field tracking using radio telemetry.
- Worldwide coverage using Inmarsat C and Inmarsat D+.
- Daily reporting on vessel movement.
- Development and Operation of Vessel Tracking and Fleet Management Systems (MVM) for in-field and/or in-office monitoring and management of oil-field support vessels.

Meridian’s Consultancy
MERIDIAN’s Project Management Consulting work covers the Geophysical and Positioning aspects of:
- Updating or modifying, technical specifications in preparation for calls for tenders.
- Evaluating contractor’s proposals and preparing written submissions to appropriate licensing bodies for acceptance of successful bidder.
- Providing Quality Control for 2D and 3D Seismic Surveys in the field to ensure contract specifications are maintained, including the provision and operation of onboard systems such as Ramesses, MicroMax, SPRINT, REFLEX, and CENSUS.
- DGPS data collection and logging of “raw” GPS broadcast information to compute higher accuracy post-processed positions. This can be utilised for 2D/3D Seismic Surveys and for an independent position of Exploration Drilling Platforms.
- Client Representation for Marine Seismic Surveys including high-resolution digital seismic for hazard surveys, conventional 2-D deep seismic prospects, 3-D seismic, shallow water 2-D with customized equipment, and Transition zone seismic surveys.
- Client Representation during the installation of offshore production facilities including pipelines, tie-in skids, jacket and topsides; as well as pre-lay, post-lay and as built ROV and/or conventional surveys in support of these projects.
- Client Representation for Land Seismic Surveys in frontier regions.
- Working with the client after the completion of the data acquisition to verify contractor’s invoicing, and identify improvements for future programs.
- In-house Survey and Drafting assistance for Production and Exploration Divisions within Oil Companies.
- Geodetic expertise for datum definition and transformation parameter derivation within existing, new or frontier concession areas.
- Geodetic Network Specification and Analysis utilizing geodetic GPS receivers.

DeepOcean controls a fleet of 14 Dynamic Positioning (DP) vessels and, together with its owners, has driven the evolution of a new type of DP support vessel equipped with heavy weather launch/recovery systems. DMNG
In last 5 years one of the main sub-division of JSC DMNG - Marine Department has fulfilled 2D survey of 125100 linear km and 3d survey of 19121 square km within the area of water of Russia Far East and abroad.
DMNG will release Customer from all the responsibilities as it has a large experience in preparation and carrying out of work necessary for successful execution of contract:
- Obtaining all the necessary licenses and permits for execution of contract.
- Exercising operating management of Marine Works.
- Work with clients and subcontractors of Marine Works.
- Realizing maintenance of Marine Works.
- Making up of vessel crews and marine field crews.
- Protection of navigation on basis of laws, rules and regulations currently in force, international conventions, orders and instructions.
- Providing technically sound condition of vessels and all the complex of equipment for geophysics work performance, safe carrying out of works.
- Fulfillment of the requirements of International Code on Safety Management.
The marine divisions of the DMNG have modern research vessels and provide the fulfillment of geophysical researches in any climatic zones, in any point of world ocean. The technical and hardware equipment of the research vessels enable the fulfillment of the whole complex of geophysical researches, including gravitational prospecting, magnetometric prospecting and seismic survey 2D/3D, with appropriate navigating maintenance.
The DMNG processing centre provides all kind of processing of geophysical researches, at central office as well as onboard of research vessels. There is the sufficient experience of organization of mobile processing centres in regions, indicated by the customer.

The Board of Directors is chaired by Mr. Johnny Yusuf Abdullah who provides company vision and long term strategies. Mr. Abdullah is a familiar personality in the offshore oilfield and cable laying industry in Asia. His extensive experience and knowledge of the industry keeps the company relevant in today’s fast changing marketplace.
The day to day operations are led by the Managing Director, Mrs. Cecilia Dwiyanti. Mrs. Cecilia has been working in senior positions in the offshore oilfield industry for the last decade. Reporting to her are a team of high caliber Managers covering the role of Health Safety & Environment, Operations, Procurement, Logistics and Financial Accounting.

This is very useful especially to Specialist Offshore Projects where the continuity and familiarity of shore support with the operations will be a major advantage for the operators.
Vessel Supply
P.T. Bina Nusantara Perkasa supplies specialist vessels and crews for various coastal and offshore works. This includes:
- Supply/Anchor Handling Vessels for offshore drilling platforms
- DP Vessels, Utility Tugs Barges for ROV Activities, Offshore Construction Projects, cable laying operations
- Floating Production Supply and Offtake (FPSO) Support

The Company is very focused on Health Safety and The Environment. In this connection, we have a Safety Management System compliant to stringent offshore requirements and the International safety Management Code in place on all our vessels.

Seismic, ROV and Cable laying Support Services
P.T. Bina Nusantara owns a 180 ft flat top dumb barge with 4 point mooring and a 1000 hp tug. In addition we have 2 utility vessels on long term charter. These platforms are ideal for ROV, Cable Laying and Seismic Support services.
Apart from the technical competence of providing support services, we are able to handle all aspects of permitting, navigation warning and liaison with relevant authorities for Seismic, ROV & Cable laying in most ASEAN countries.
Bunkers and Ship Supplies
PT. Bina Nusantara Perkasa is the authorized agent for SCANDINAV-Scandinavian bunker trader. We have competent technical personnel who will ensure that our client gets bunkers which meet their specifications and at a very competitive price. We are also the authorized distributor for genuine ALFA – LAVAL parts and equipment in Indonesia.
We have recently started a ship supplies department and maintain a stock of commonly used materials and supplies. The objective of this service is to ensure that our clients operations are well serviced of any requirements they may have 24 hours a day.
Manning & Catering Services
Apart from manning our own vessels, we have a department which can provide qualified and competent maritime crew, rig crew and general workers. All our maritime crews have qualifications meeting STCW 95 requirements.
To enable our clients focus on their core activities, we offer full catering services where for a fixed victualing costs, we manage and operate all catering services for drilling rigs, vessels, base camps and any other site locations.
